EES Business Manager: Recruitment Information

Since its founding in 1882, the Egypt Exploration Society has generated enthusiasm for and increased knowledge and understanding of Egypt’s past. The Society has been at the forefront of research into Ancient Egypt and continues to raise awareness of the importance of protecting Egypt’s heritage by its publications and programme of activity. The Society is currently at an important and exciting point in its evolution as it re-invents itself for the 21st century. The organisation is governed by a Board of Trustees and led by the Director, Dr Cédric Gobeil.

We are now seeking to appoint a Business Manager to be in post by the end of January 2017. We are looking for an experienced professional, appropriately qualified in finance and administration, preferably with an understanding of work in the charitable sector and who is an effective team player.
