Submission of Manuscripts
Prospective contributors should submit copies of their manuscripts in a form suitable for refereeing, editing and typesetting according to the JEA Guidelines for Contributors posted below. Submitted manuscripts are subject to anonymous refereeing. Manuscripts accepted on the basis of anonymous referee report are then revised by contributors for final submission. Accepted manscripts are allocated to particular issues of the JEA dependent on the time taken for the refereeing process, timely submission of final manuscript, and remaining availability of space in particular issues of the journal; the decision lies with the editors. The editors will seek to include an accepted submission in the next volume in which space is available, but reserve the right to hold over a manuscript to the following edition of the journal according to circumstance. The JEA has no formal deadline for submission.
Details for manuscript submission and house style can be found in the JEA Guidelines for Contributors (version 2.1, pdf posted 01-2010).
The JEA Abbreviations for Journals and Series (version 2.1, pdf posted 01-2010) is a developing resource which is likely to be revised regularly.
