By making a gift to the Egypt Exploration Society you help to secure the future of the Society and its valuable work in Egypt, the UK and elsewhere. The Society depends on the generosity of its supporters to continue its work and donations of any size are welcome.
Donations to unrestricted/ general funds support the running of the Society and are most welcome, however, if you would like your gift to be designated to a particular area of work or Fund please indicate your choice by clicking the button below.
UK Resident Tax-Payers: Don’t forget to Gift Aid it!
As a supporter of the EES you will know how hard we work to ensure that every penny we raise goes as far as it can. Clicking the Gift Aid box above helps make your donations go 28% further and it won’t cost you a penny!
So long as you’re a UK Tax-Payer, the EES can reclaim back the basic rate of tax on your donations through Gift Aid and Transitional Relief at no cost to you, the donor. This means you can boost your donations by 28p for every £1.00 given! In addition, donors who are higher rate UK tax-payers can claim additional relief on Gift Aid donations.
US Resident Tax Payers
If you are a US resident, you can make tax-efficient one-off or regular donations to support the EES since the Society is a registered charity and member of The American Fund for Charities. The relevant form can be downloaded here.
