Making our books more accessible than ever

Last year, we partnered with a new distributor for our books: ISD International and their sister company, ISD North America, covering Canada, Mexico, and the United States. Our Publications Manager, Julia Thorne, has been exploring ways of making our publications more accessible, including new cover designs and growing our list of titles, particularly our recently launched Spotlight Series.

Publications worth printing again

We are now reintroducing our historic volumes to a growing list of print-on-demand titles. This will offer a flexible and cost-effective way to make our back catalogue available again. We have started with a couple of our more popular titles: Temple Ritual at Abydos, by Rosalie David and the 5th edition of Who Was Who in Egyptology, edited by Morris L. Bierbrier. This is the start of a project that will include our entire catalogue, which currently encompasses over 350 publications since our founding in 1882.

All the books, none of the bulk

We also now provide eBooks for a wide selection of our publications, so you can build a whole library in your pocket (with no need to find space on your bookshelves)! This is in line with our commitment to sustainability, and we hope it provides you with a new way to appreciate our books  - particularly when on the go.
