This training will educate scholars on the use of Epigraphy in archaeological work, as an important method of digital documentation.

Scientific illustrations are used in various fields to represent objects more effectively and succinctly than what is possible with just photography. In archaeology, it is paramount for publications to use illustrations in agreed-upon styles to document findings and communicate them to others for further study.

The training will help you create epigraphic work to support your research through illustrative reconstruction and interpretation. It will also help you visualise the results of archaeological fieldwork in a way that is meaningful and visually appealing to as many people as possible.

This is your chance to become an archaeological illustrator!
